Why I support FTCSF

Training Teachers
Since we were chartered in June of 2006, For the Children's Sake Foundation has provided training to more than 265 teachers and directors from 69 Christian schools serving orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya, Uganda and Sudan. Through these teachers, the lives and education of more than 8,000 children have been impacted in Jesus' name.

By providing professional development courses to their teachers, we help vulnerable children recieve a better education and develop skills which will improve their lives. Christian teachers learn how to impact children's understanding of Christ's love for them, sharing Gospel truth in their cultural setting.

Many teachers serving orphans and vulnerable children have no education past high school but they do have a heart to serve Christ. The teachers are eager to build their skills, and give up personal holiday time between school terms to attend FTCSF professional development sessions over a one-year period.
