For the Children's Sake Foundation recognizes that the best people to address the problems of Africa are Africans. The African Instructor Trainee Program is an example of our commitment to equipping Africans to help themselves. Teachers who have successfully completed the Basic Teacher Training may apply for further training. Participants will be held to a high standard and will be required to learn and demonstrate a much deeper and broader understanding of areas covered in the basic course.
Once teachers have successfully completed the instructor training course, they will be available to provide basic training to non-formal school teachers in their own countries, vastly expanding the number of teachers who will be better prepared to teach the orphans and other vulnerable children under their care.
A donation of $1500 will provide computer access, TOEFL testing, travel expenses to attend training sessions, and instruction materials for one participant in the African Instructor Trainee Program.
