FTCSF has provided a grant for construction of St Joseph’s Memorial Primary School, in rural Uganda.
St Joseph's Memorial Primary School serves the poorest and most vulnerable children in the area. Children whose families cannot afford to send them to government school and who have no other school within walking distance attend, often in exchange for produce or goats milk, which is then used to prepare school lunches. St Joseph's currently meets in a dilapidated, rented building. When it rains, the children are exposed to the elements and the rent keeps increasing.
Mr. Michael Nsamba, founder of the school, contacted FTCSF last year with a vision for construction of a school building which would provide a safe and sustainable future for the expanding school. Heinvested his own meager resources into purchasing land, blueprints and permits. Now he prayed for funding.
Michael's determination and vision inspired four men at Covenant Presbyterian Church to help him build a better future for the children of Kamengo Province, Uganda. Because of their generosity, FTCSF was able to fully fund the construction of a four classroom school complete with an office, two latrines and a vegetable garden.
Please pray for Michael as he faithfully serves the children of rural Uganda.
