Intabaw lives at home with his father and his step-mother. His own mother died. He also has three brothers.
At home, Intabaw helps his father by looking after their lambs. Although his father is a village watchman, his family is destitute, owning fewer than 10 camels, goats, cows or sheep and having no source of monetary income. His family's diet most likely consists of a cup of milk and a bowl of gruel each per day. Intabaw receives a balanced meal at school every day.
Intabaw's best subject at school is Mathematics. He attends church and Sunday school and loves playing soccer with his friends.
