Intaytan lives at home with her mother and father, her two brothers and three sisters.
At home, Intaytan helps her family by looking after the baby. Her family is destitute, owning fewer than 10 camels, goats, cows or sheep and having no source of monetary income. Her family's diet most likely consists of a cup of milk and a bowl of gruel each per day. Intaytan receives a balanced meal at school every day.
