At home, Khoboso helps her family by collecting firewood. Khoboso's father is employed as a watchman, though her family remains utterly destitute. Her family's diet most likely consists of a cup of milk and a bowl of gruel each per day. Khoboso receives a balanced meal at school every day.
Khoboso is deaf, but still participates in school and social activities. Her best subject at school is mathematics. She attends church and Sunday school and loves playing volleyball with her friends.
