Dadacha lives at home with his mother and father, and three brothers.
At home, Dadacha helps his family by looking after the baby calves. His family is destitute, owning fewer than 10 camels, goats, cows or sheep and having no source of monetary income. His family's diet most likely consists of a cup of milk and a bowl of gruel each per day. Dadacha receives a balanced meal at school every day.
